Stop today's attacks, not just yesterday's viruses
We put SentinelOne endpoint detection and response (EDR) on every computer in your business, and we look after it for you. You get plain-language updates, not security jargon.
-
10:42
Suspicious behaviour detected
A program from a fake invoice starts changing many files at once.
-
10:42
Stopped automatically
The program is stopped and quarantined before it spreads.
-
10:43
Changes rolled back
The files it touched are put back the way they were.
-
10:45
You get a plain-language notice
What happened, what was done, and whether you need to do anything.
Antivirus or EDR: what's the difference?
A traditional antivirus compares files against a list of known threats. It's useful, but an attack nobody has seen before isn't on any list yet. An EDR (endpoint detection and response) watches what programs actually do, so it can stop an attack by its behaviour, even a new one, and help you recover.
| What it does | Traditional antivirus | EDR, Workedin Security |
|---|---|---|
| Recognises known viruses | Yes, from its list of known threats | Yes |
| Stops new attacks nobody has seen before | Often not until the threat is added to its list | Yes, by watching how programs behave |
| Ransomware that encrypts your files | May miss a new variant | Stops it and can roll back the changed files |
| Cuts an infected computer off the network | No | Yes, in one step, until it is cleaned |
| Shows what happened and how it got in | Rarely | The full story of the attack, which we explain to you |
Rolling back changed files works on Windows computers.

Questions
Do I still need Microsoft Defender or my current antivirus?
No. SentinelOne becomes your active protection. If another antivirus is installed, we help you remove it so the two don't conflict.
Will it slow down my computers?
The agent runs quietly in the background and is designed to be light on your computer.
What does Workedin see on my computers?
The protection status of each computer and the security alerts it raises, so we can explain them to you.
Which computers are covered?
Windows, Mac and Linux computers, including servers. Phones and tablets aren't covered.
What if a threat gets through?
With Protect, it's blocked automatically and we tell you what happened; you can ask an expert for help at any time. With Managed, analysts handle it and an expert does up to one hour of cleanup per incident.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from your account. Your computers stay protected until the end of the month you've paid for. Managed has a 3-month minimum, which covers the included expert installation.
Not sure where you stand?
A free security check scans your computers and shows your gaps, with a clear report you can keep. No commitment.
